Maintenance overall is lacking. No recycling, which is a surprise for Richmond. Very nice location. Trash not picked up regularly.
Extremely convenient if you have a loved one in Regional Memorial hospital. Takes a out 10 minutes to reach the hotel from hospital. Room was very clean. Even though the hotel was near fully booked, it was quiet. The front desk staff were courteous and took the time to answer all of my questions.
Stayed here with my family on a baseball trip. Had a minor hiccup with the room. The GM, Susan, was quick to get everything sorted out! She and her staff offer top-tier customer care!
This SpringHill Suite is one of the nicest that I have encountered on my many travels. I was originally attracted by the pricing and that is how I stumbled upon this hotel. My family booked two different rooms and both were equally as clean and neat as the other. The beds were soft, yet firm and your head sank right into the pillow before slumbering the night away. The pool was very well cared for, the temperature was perfect. Hot breakfast was very well maintained and cared for. Every staff member went out of their way to ask if we needed anything. Cannot wait to find an excuse to visit again.
Given some of the negative reviews, I felt compelled to make sure I leave a review as my experience was really great. I stayed in a king room, which was exceptionally clean, spacious, and comfortable. The front desk staff both at check-in (midnight) and the following morning were welcoming, nice and helpful with any questions I had about the stay or the area. I chose this hotel due to its proximity to the airport. A free shuttle was provided. Regarding prices -- all hotels in Richmond were pricier than expected the days I was in town -- not unique to SpringHill Suites. I would definitely stay here again if needing something convenient and nice close to the airport.
While in the area, our family had an unexpected health encounter, I stopped in and the hotel was clean and fresh looking. After speaking with the manager, he actually took me to the room and showed me around the hotel, which is almost done with its remodeling. Very happy with the service and price.
Customer service was amazing. Mina was an amazing front desk agent—5/5 stars! I really liked his personality, and he was very helpful. The rooms were very nice, and the housekeepers were amazing. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here.
A great location. It is near a small strip mall with dining and a CVS and a larger shopping center. Both areas accessible by walking. The rooms were clean and all appointed. The staff was super friendly.
